Dave Kruyswyk
Owner

Dave is a co-owner of Whatcom Landscapes, Inc. He completed his degree at the University of Phoenix with a BS in Information Technology. His current role at Whatcom Landscapes, Inc. involves creating processes for day to day work flow, ensuring crews are well prepared to take on their tasks efficiently and with proper equipment. Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife, Shari, as well as participating in a choir, vegetable gardening, reading, hiking and traveling.

Jon Kruyswyk
Owner

Jon is a co-owner of Whatcom Landscapes, Inc. He completed his degree at Michigan State University with an AAS in Business and Certificate of Horticulture. His current role at Whatcom Landscapes, Inc. involves marketing the business in our local community, as well as initial contact with potential clients to prepare customized proposals and designs. In his free time, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife, Rianne, and raising their 5 children, as well as gardening, traveling, hiking, camping and fishing.

Mark Kruyswyk
Production Manager

Mark completed his degree at Bellingham Technical College in Information Technology. His current role at Whatcom Landscapes, Inc. involves managing all the day to day field crews, ensuring they have the information they need to complete their projects and routes within their work parameters. Mark enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking and coaching LYS soccer teams.

Daniel Meissner
Senior Landscape Foreman

Daniel attended school in Seattle for Computer Science. His role as crew foreman involves managing all aspects of the installation, from communicating with the customer, to directing installation of all facets of the landscape. Daniel enjoys camping, hiking in the cascades, biking and playing video games.

Brent West
Senior Landscape Foreman

Brent offers a wide range of expertise to his landscape installations with precise attention to detail. In his free time, Brent spends time with his wife, Ashley, remodeling their home, hiking with their dog, Maggie, hosting BBQs and camping.

Fallon Richardson
Junior Landscape Foreman

Fallon and her crew are dedicated to building a variety of fences and decks, as well as many other structures and components of landscaping. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors with hiking and kayaking.

Alex Alaniz
Junior Landscape Foreman

Alex is well versed in all aspects of landscape installation, and is eager to learn and install new things – like artificial turf! In his free time, he enjoys caring for his family and tending to his property.

Justin Duffy
Maintenance Foreman

Justin takes great pride in making sure that the grounds of every business and home are looking pristine. He helps to make sure that once the landscape crews complete a new installation, he will be there to make sure it stays looking its best, protecting your investment! In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors with hunting, fishing and playing with his dogs.

Gregory Powers
Horticulture Technician

Greg knows pruning. He is our resident plant care guru, and will take care of any plant you have to ensure proper growth and health. In his free time, he tends to his own plants (!) and enjoys campfires and spending time with friends.
