How to Choose Your Landscape Maintenance

Knowing whether your lawn requires a service like aeration may not be obvious. Below, we provide a summary of each lawn care service option. As you request an estimate from us, if you still have any questions about our services, please don’t hesitate to ask us directly via phone.

Lawn Mowing, Trimming, Edging: Cutting your grass and keeping it neat is more than just a weekly or bi-weekly mow. Edging the pavement & beds by the grass neatly defines the lawn border. Lastly, a string trimmer is used to cut the grass where the mower cannot reach.
Weed Control: In order to inhibit the growth of unwanted plants (weeds), we apply weed prevention products. Despite one’s best efforts, some weeds inevitably appear, so we regularly pull them up from beds.
Moss Treatment: Similar to weed control, if there is any undesired moss on your property, including on pavement or on your roof, we can apply moss control to remove it.
Fertilizer: Applying fertilizer ensures that your lawn stays green & healthy by providing essential nutrients to the grass.
Lawn Aeration: Lawn aeration is the process of removing plugs of soil from your lawn. One purpose is to relieve soil compaction, which is soil so dense that it does not absorb water well, resulting in runoff, erosion, and of course a dehydrated lawn. Another purpose is to easily allow fertilizer and water into the root system. Lastly, it allows grass roots the ability to expand and deepen into the ground. In short, lawn aeration boosts nutrient intake, promotes deeper root growth, and much more! For a strong, resilient lawn that can withstand the seasons and maintain a healthy look, lawn aeration is important.
Slicer Seeding: If your grass is growing thin, it may be time for slicer seeding. This is the process of using a machine to slice small grooves in the lawn & insert seeds. The grooves ensure the seeds are embedded in the soil so they are more likely to sprout.
Tree & Shrub Pruning: While plants & trees are dormant, we will prune them to control excessive & dead growth as well as to train it to grow aesthetically.
Fall & Spring Cleanup: Collect & remove all leaves and debris from lawn, beds, and driveway regularly starting the last week of October. In early Spring, we will clean up any residual leaves, branches, and winter debris as well as blow all paved areas.
Sprinkler System Maintenance: A sprinkler system is not much use if it does not water your yard properly. When we inspect & fix your irrigation system, we check for broken parts, full head-to-head coverage, over-spraying lawn edges, and any other potential issues.
